    • Overview of the various advanced distributions available in GRIF
    • Common cause failure models
    • Reminder of how BDD ZBDD calculations work, etc.
    • Advanced calculation settings

tutorial (2 hours)

  • Module 4: Optimizing a tank overflow protection system
  • Module 5: Comparing the impact of choosing a DCC model
  • Module 6: Analysis of the impact of input uncertainties on the final result

PRACTICAL WORK (1.5 hours)

  • Module 7: Practical work on probability calculations
  • Module 8: Configuration optimization and analysis of calculation performance

Hardware note: A PC with at least 8 GB of free RAM is recommended to
test calculations on “advanced” models. A GRIF Boolean package license should also be
available on the user’s PC.
