TRAINING CONTENT

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Understand the theory of Stochastic Predicate Petri Nets
  • Master best practices for modelling in PNs
  • Master transition configuration
  • Use the Petri graphical interface effectively
  • Configure calculations and analyse results
  • Practise modelling to answer questions about a system

PRESENTATIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS (12.5 hours)

  • Introduction to stochastic Petri nets
  • Getting started with the GUI and using data tables
  • Configuring transitions
  • Presenting a model effectively
  • Configuring calculations and analysing results
  • Working methodology to ensure high-quality models

SUPERVISED WORK (6 hours)

  • Exercises to familiarise yourself with the Petri module interface.
  • Creating models requiring the use of advanced transition options.
  • Performing calculations to assess system reliability and optimise stocks.

PRACTICAL WORK (9.5 hours)

  • Creating typical Petri nets
    • Operate/fail/repair component and 1oo2 system
