TRAINING CONTENT

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Define the principles of safety assessment in aeronautics.
  • Define and implement a methodology for defining and specifying an MBSA model.
  • Build and use a components’ library.
  • Use and master Cecilia Workshop to create a model and perform computations.
  • Define the limitations and benefits of the MBSA approach.

LECTURES (5.5 hours)

  • Regulatory frame
    • Aeronautics regulations
    • ARP 4761A safety process
  • Methodological guide
    • Why model
    • When to model
    • How to model
  • Detailed study of a model
    • Modeling principles
    • Simulation and validation of the model
    • Results: limitations and benefits

DEMONSTRATIONS - EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION (3.5 hours)

  • Simulation of a complete model with Cecilia Workshop
