SATODEV is proud to announce its selection by the Institut pour la Maîtrise des Risques (IMdR) for the development of the future tool implementing the FIDES 2022 guide. This recognition underlines SATODEV’s expertise in the field of operational safety software.
IMdR and FIDES 2022 guide

IMdR is a major association that brings together manufacturers and institutions to address risk management issues. These organizations operate in a wide range of sectors, including aeronautics, space, defense, transport and energy.
Within this framework, an IMdR FIDES working group is leading the evolution of the FIDES guide, a recognized methodology for assessing the reliability of electronic components.
FIDES 2022 is a major update of the FIDES Guide. It incorporates the latest technical advances and takes into account new developments in electronic technologies.
A choice based on SATODEV’s expertise
After an in-depth study, the working group in charge of the project chose SATODEV to develop the free FIDES Lab software tool that will be used by users of the FIDES 2022 guide. This choice is based on several criteria:
- Proven technical expertise in the development of software solutions dedicated to reliability analysis.
- An approach focused on innovation and ergonomics, guaranteeing a high-performance tool that is accessible to industry professionals.
- The quality of our development methods, enabling us to deliver tools with no major bugs and guaranteeing very long-term maintainability. We are used to maintaining our solutions for over 20 years.)
This project represents a new stage in the collaboration between SATODEV and IMdR, and confirms our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions. What’s more, FIDES Lab will complement the range of software we are already developing.
We would like to thank the IMdR and all the members of the working group for their trust. And of course, we look forward to making this tool available to facilitate the application of the FIDES 2022 guide!
